If you took Prince's entire catalogue and reversed it, I'm sure you would come up with all kinds of different "messages" - but still, most of it would probably not make any sense at all.

The only "true" examples of backward masking, in my opinion, are the ones where an original track has been reversed, and what you hear is the "backwards" part - then you know it's intentional. Like in "Darling Nikki", "Baby I'm A Star" etc.

And sure, I agree that backward masking is perfectly possible to do (here is an interesting site about those kinds of things, for instance). But regarding the before-mentioned Prince songs (Let's Go Crazy, OnedayI'mgonnabesomebody), I'd still say those are just coincidental.

Besides, why is it that backward messages always seem to be about Satan?
